Toiletries Drive

Why Run a Toiletries Drive?

Many of our clients in need of food assistance also have a need for basic toiletry items.  Non-food items cannot be purchased with food stamps, so toiletries and household cleaning supplies are items they often cannot afford to buy.  These items include basic hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, razors (disposable), and feminine hygiene items.  There is also a great need for household cleaning items such as dish soap (Dawn, etc.), toilet bowl cleaner, and laundry detergent.

The pantry does not accept open or partially used hygiene items for our clients’ use, e.g. deodorant, toothpaste, mouthwash, unwrapped toothbrushes, etc.

If you are part of a small group that wants to help but feels a food drive is too large of a project for you or your organization, please consider running a toiletries drive.   Please feel free to contact NeighborGood for more information about such a drive.  We can be reached at 402-552-7061.  If no one is there when you call, please leave your contact information on our voicemail and someone from the pantry will return your call.

Thank You!
